Our journey began over a decade ago in Canada, where our Bahamian founders entered the renewable energy industry during a time when solar technology was emerging as a viable alternative to traditional energy sources. Through participation in programs like Ontario’s FIT and MicroFIT, we gained valuable experience in developing and implementing solar solutions. This foundation allowed us to expand our operations, leading to the establishment of the My Energy Global group of companies, with regional branches including My Energy USA, My Energy Canada, and My Energy in Central America.

Our mission is to enable individuals, businesses, and governments to reclaim their power—literally and figuratively—by harnessing the abundant energy of the sun.
Recognizing the unique energy challenges faced by island nations—particularly vulnerability to hurricanes and reliance on imported fossil fuels—we launched My Energy Bahamas. Our goal is to provide the Caribbean with robust, hurricane-resistant solar systems that ensure energy security and independence. By leveraging our multinational experience and tailoring our solutions to local needs, we aim to transform the energy landscape across the region.

My Energy Bahamas is wholly Bahamian owned, and one of the My Energy founders is Bahamian born and raised. We are not a foreign company with a local number and a mailing address.
We live here. We shop here. Our children go to school here. When the power drops on your street, it drops on ours too, and we sit in the same dark you do. That is not a marketing line, it is just where we live.
