Maintenance & Support

Two years of cover included with every system, and a service team that lives here.

Maintenance & Support

Peace of mind, included as standard

This is the question we get at almost every presentation, so here is the plain answer. Every system we install comes with a two-year maintenance and support programme included. Nothing to add on, nothing hidden in the small print.

We are committed to the long-term performance of your system, and that commitment does not end when the crew packs up and drives away.

What is included

Annual site visit

Our technicians carry out a full inspection of your electrical components and connections, checking torque, corrosion and performance against expectation. In a salt-air environment this matters more than it does elsewhere.

Remote monitoring

We watch your system's output continuously. If something looks wrong we contact you by text or email, often before you have noticed anything yourself. Requires an internet connection at the property.

Annual panel cleaning

We clean your array once a year to keep production at its peak. Bahamian rainfall does most of the work for you, but salt haze and Saharan dust still build up over a season.

Equipment support

We handle equipment maintenance and manage any warranty or replacement claim on your behalf for the first two years, so you are never the one chasing a manufacturer.

After the first two years

Extended coverage is available and priced by system size and location.

Extended pricing depends on system size and whether the property is on New Providence or a Family Island. Warranty terms on the equipment itself are set out on our technical FAQ.

Support in two layers

Local hands when something needs touching. A global desk when you need an answer at nine o'clock on a Sunday night. Most companies here can offer you one or the other. We run both.

Layer one · Local

Our Nassau technicians

Every physical job is done by our own team here on the island: installation, site visits, diagnostics and repairs. When someone arrives at your property, they work for us and very likely helped put your system up in the first place.

Layer two · Global

The global support desk

Behind the local team sits our international support network, providing secondary and escalation support including after-hours live chat. If a question comes in once our Nassau office has closed, it does not sit unanswered until morning.

The ticket system, and the 24-hour rule

Every support ticket is reviewed daily and routed to whichever team can actually solve it, whether that is the crew in Nassau or a specialist elsewhere in the network.

Why being tied into the global network matters. Your system is not supported by one small local outfit whose capacity depends on who happens to be available that week. It is supported by a documented, accountable network with escalation paths, shared engineering knowledge and manufacturer relationships behind it. That is what keeps a twenty-year warranty meaningful.
Two things worth knowing. We are not responsible for damage caused by negligence or misuse of the system. And if you notice anything unusual, raise it straight away rather than waiting for the annual visit. Small issues stay small when they are caught early.

Maintenance questions we hear most

Is maintenance included when I buy a solar system?

Yes. Every system we install includes a two-year maintenance and support programme at no extra cost. It covers an annual site visit, continuous remote monitoring, annual panel cleaning, and equipment and warranty support.

How much does solar maintenance cost after the first two years?

Extended coverage starts at $100 per year, depending on the size of your system and whether the property is on New Providence or a Family Island. Manufacturer warranties on panels, inverters and batteries continue to run for 10 to 25 years regardless.

How often do solar panels need cleaning in The Bahamas?

Once a year is enough for most properties, and that visit is included in your programme. Bahamian rainfall rinses the array regularly, but salt haze near the coast and seasonal Saharan dust still leave a film that reduces output if left over a full season.

What happens if my system stops working?

In most cases we know before you do. Our remote monitoring flags an underperforming or offline system and we contact you by text or email. If a physical visit is needed, our Nassau-based service team attends, and any warranty claim is handled by us rather than by you.

Can I get support after hours?

Yes. Our support runs in two layers. Local technicians in Nassau handle anything physical, and a global support desk provides secondary and after-hours cover including live chat, so a question raised once the local office has closed does not wait until morning.

How quickly will someone respond to a support ticket?

Within 24 hours. Every ticket is reviewed daily and routed to the team that can actually resolve it, rather than sitting in a general queue. You can raise a ticket at any time through our support portal at prosuite.myenergyglobal.com/support.
